FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We first started doing remodels and rehabs on our own properties. We were purchasing properties to flip and some to hold and rent. At first we worked with contractors. We quickly found that it is difficult to find a good contractor at a reasonable price. So we started our own in house remodeling company to work on our own properties. When selling our own properties we would hold an open house. At the open houses, people would ask who did the work. This resulted in us doing work for others as well as for ourselves. We still do work for ourselves but our remodeling business has grown and now most of our work is for outside clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common jobs are kitchen and bathroom remodels. The most common of those is the bathtub conversion. It seems we have one going every week. This is where we remove the bathtub and replace it with a shower in the same space. This makes for a large, comfortable shower that is easy to get in and out of.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone reputable. There are a lot of contractors out there that either don't do quality work or purposely take short cuts. A reputable contractor does good work at a fair price and wants to protect his/her reputation by providing quality service.
