We hired them for my daughter’s 3rd birthday party, and they were amazing! Even though it was a small, casual event, they came super professional and captured all the special moments beautifully. My daughters 15th was very expensive. Joyful Journeys made it affordable for me to document my daughters special day. They captured the emotion and put the video/pictures together beautifully. Photography and video is an art where they need to be I tune with the client to truly capture the vibe. They nailed it. They also made my introverted daughter feel at ease and just be herself. They truly care and are honestly underpriced. But they do it because creating beautiful memories is more than just a job for them.

That day, we first visited the wedding venue to make sure we had the address right and got a sense of the space. Afterward, we headed over to Millennium Park to scout the best spots for your photos. While we had checked the park’s aerial view beforehand, being there in person—and exploring the nearby waterfall—helped us choose the most beautiful locations. That little extra preparation made a big difference in how the photos turned out!
And about the custom package you mentioned—thank you for pointing that out! It’s always a pleasure to create something that fits perfectly for each couple. By the way, I sent over a flyer with details about our long video extension package, in case anyone you know might need a full-length video.
