Jason took the time to understand what I was trying to do. He did two trainings - one on his machine that I listened, watched and asked questions and one where I did the work on my machine. We had a little snafu getting started with Skype but he more than made up for the time. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I currently charge $60 per hour for *online* and/or *in-person* training lessons in Plano, Texas. I off training in Microsoft Office for Windows (or Mac) applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. I also offer training on computer Operating Systems for Windows (or Mac).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When working with a new client, I typically teach the basics of the application to give them a good foundation and I adjust the speed of the lesson based on the student's learning pace and level of knowledge of that specific application.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I've been using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications since they were first introduced. I use them extensively in my tutoring business and I have taught many people and businesses over the years how to become proficient in using these applications. I use Microsoft Word to create letters, forms, mailing labels, and marketing materials. I used Microsoft Excel to create budgets, financial statements, and sales forecasting. I use Microsoft Access to maintain a sales database. I use Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations for sales and marketing. I use Microsoft Outlook to consolidate my personal and business email accounts and streamline my email process.
