They did my fence in the rain and in the dark. The color was way off base, like they painted the fence dirty dark brown. They left stain everywhere, all over the alley, all over the fence poles, the grass was ruined, and they even painted over their own signs. I wanted a strong base board like my neighbor on the outside of the fence like my neighbors. The salesman Jay said the color of my fence and the board on the outside would look the exact same as my neighbors. It did not at all. Then the owner Rocky tells me he cares less what my neighbors fence looks like, and he knows what he is doing. It looked like they put cheap cardboard around the outside of the fence. I just paid them so I can move on and get the fence done right by Superior or Premier wood stain. I can not waste my time with this company.

Tim, I apologize for the issues with your project. My guys were trying to finish as it was getting dark and they should not have done that. Overall, the fence stain looks good. Sounds like there was a mix up with what you wanted at the bottom of the fence. I know what your neighbor had on their fence and was trying to explain that mix up to you. I didn't need to look at the neighbor's fence because I do this for a living and I know what you wanted after you clarified. I called you and emailed you to explain what happened and offered to come change it for you. This was a simple fix and I feel this got blown way out of proportion. I tried to make it right with you but you did not want us to.

The workmanship deserves 5 stars but the communication with the office forscheduling was so horrible that I can only give the company 3 stars. The person who came out for the quote was prompt and profesional and answered several questions via email while we were deciding which company to go with. We received 4 other quotes with 1 being very similar in pricing, but chose Texas Best Stain because of his knowledge and helpfulness. We were hoping the rest of our experience would be the same but it was not. Here is a copy of the 2 emails I sent the office manager, which sum up the reasons for the 3 star review:First email sent Wedmesday at 5 (after calling the office twice around 450 before they closed and getting no answer)The crew is still not here and my son goes to bed at 645. Our fence is over 3000 sq ft so even if they got here now I am betting they would not be done by the time he needs to go to bed and I dont want the washing to wake him up. Please contact the crew and reschedule.I am extremely frustrated. The clean was scheduled for Monday and got pushed back due to rain delays, which I understand. However, I am frustrated with the lack of communication since then. On Monday I was told theyd be here by 3 on Tuesday. At 3 there was no sign of them and I was told no later than 5. Right before 5 I called again and told you it was getting too late so I was rescheduled for first thing this morning. As of 2 today still no sign so I called again. You told me the circumstance and called back with an update and said if the crew couldnt come before 5 I would be told. Its 5 and still no communication.I understand delays happen but all contact after Monday has been initiated by me and that is unacceptable.Second email sent Wednesday around 7Wanted to Update you that at 6:50, I received a call from a crew member stating they would be here at 7:10. I received the call as I was rocking my son to sleep. Im very confused as to why I finally received communication 5 minutes after 6:45 (the time which I told you the crew needed to be gone). He said he would come tomorrow at 8. I really hope thats true.Thankfully the crew did come at 8 and did a great job, but the frustration with communication was ridiculous. If you choose to go with this company, you will receive quality work, but be prepared for a headache!

    We have competitive prices and offer package deal, military, and senior discounts. We have no hidden fees and do not charge tax. What you see is what you pay.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We reply with a price or if more information is needed we come out to evaluate the project and scope of work. We ensure we understand the customer’s needs and then quickly provide a formal proposal. Upon approval all scheduling is done via email and work is completed in a timely and professional manner. Upon completion we invoice.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    Our team has over 100 years combined experience in fencing and outdoor living.
