FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is pretty detailed. I am very proactive during the entire process. I consider the pre-planning as important as the execution on the day of. Initially, I need to understand the clients' vision of the party (what do they want their guests to feel about the party. What do they want to feel about the party, how do they envision the day of the event to look like). If the client doesn't have much input on this, I guide them through some of my creative ideas based on the occasion. This is usually the most difficult part. Once we know we are on the same page, I get to work with constant communication and updates to the client and ensure we have everything ready prior to the event date. Closer to the event, I like to setup a day or two prior to if the venue permits. On the day of, the most important is the co-ordination and the flow of the event. I ensure we have the right people in the right places and there is no gap with respect to communication or expectations.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Some of our work includes birthday parties (kids and adults), baby showers, surprise parties (honoring cancer patients), baby welcome home parties, teen parties, at home dinner parties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
What I have observed is that a large number of these requests are ambiguous. The comment field can best serve the purpose of removing this ambiguity! Please key in as much details as possible or get in touch with the pro on the phone early on. This helps a) pros to give a good and apt quote and b) saves time on both ends by cutting down back and forth communication.
