FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It’s different for everyone, as I take a lot of factors into consideration. I have in the past been quite expensive, sometimes upwards of 2,800$ for 10 days, however, I also do a lot of work completely free, and of course volunteer work. I don’t usually charge the fees that I’ve commanded in the past, ever. It depends on a lot of factors. Sometimes it’s 100$ for what should be 800$ of work, other times it’s much, much more. Other times it’s even less than 100$ . It depends very much.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is always an initial consultation, and “pairing” with the dog. Each dog has different requirements for pairing, in formal applied behavior analysis and it is critical to the progression of training. The dog has to come to associate you with good things, as well as trust you. Every dog has different requirements for this.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
^^ that and being the top Rover pet sitter in the Plano/Frisco/Allen and McKinney area for 5 years during nursing school until I decided to leave Rover. See training explanation above ^.
