- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Karmen Aksu, we are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality dress alterations and competitive pricing. Our experienced craftspeople have the knowledge and expertise to effectively alter a wide range of garments. We understand that altering clothes can be more difficult than sewing new clothes, so we take into consideration factors such as garment construction, fabric, and beading when pricing our services. We strive to offer reasonable and competitive pricing that reflects the value we bring to each project. We are happy to discuss pricing options that work within your budget. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Visiting a tailor for the first time can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Karmen Aksu will work with you through every step of the process to create your perfect look for your event or Big Day. During your visit, you'll have a design consultation to discuss style, detailing and fabric choices. Karmen will then develop a conceptual sketch for your approval before finalizing your dress. Multiple fittings are offered during the making process to ensure a perfect fit and styling. Whether you need a made-to-measure gown, a simple dress, or a dress that needs to be altered/restyled, Karmen is here to help. At the fitting, Karmen will take your measurements and provide a price estimate. You can expect to pick up your garment within a few days to 2 weeks. When you come in for pick-up, make sure to try on your garment again before you leave. If adjustments need to be made, you can address them with Karmen and get the garment refitted.
