FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a specialty mover, which means our fees factor in years of technical expertise that a normal mover or general assembly handyman would not possess. We have been exclusively assembling and relocating fitness equipment since 2001, and we have the insight and skill necessary to ensure your equipment is assembled properly and safely. We are owned and operated by a 10 year USAF veteran with proficiency ratings in both aircraft avionics and intelligence analysis - so attention to detail is a natural priority of our company.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have served a former president, professional athletes, international corporate CEOs, heads of state, television & movie personalities, and more! But whether you're famous or not, we give the same high end level of service to all our clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for the kind of confidence that comes from many years of specific experience - fitness specific experience is a must! Details should be just as important to the person assembling or moving your equipment as they to you, perhaps more so - if they don't ask you a lot of detailed questions before giving you a solid quote, I would be wary. Ask them if they have the ability to ensure proper factory spec calibration. Ask them if there is anything that absolutely should not be done when assembling or relocating the specific make and model of fitness equipment you have. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Knowing what to do is important, but knowing what NOT to do is key for a technical professional in this line of work. For example, when it comes to relocation of a treadmill, anybody with a few tools can take it apart and move it, but standard household movers often disassemble things that were never meant to be taken apart, and getting the machine back together becomes a series of trial and error. We have established working relationships with many moving companies after they got themselves into a bind in this manner - now they call us first.
