I am an enthusiastic and fun teacher. I acquired my bachelor's and master's degree in piano performance. Since I was 8 years old, I have been trained systematically and professionally throughout my years in school. My solo performances and recitals were held when I was attending the University of Wyoming. I have great passion towards performing in public, but I found greater love in teaching piano. I have 11 years of teaching experiences.
*** Lesson details ***
Strict but fun and enthusiastic, these words were said by my students after years of teaching. In Piano lessons, I assign diverse music repertories in order to assist students to have the ability to grasp the essentials of each different style of music. Learning piano skills is very important, but note-reading, theory, ear training and music history can't be neglected. I will include all these subjects consistently during the lessons to help the students build stronger and richer musicality. One or two recitals will be provided by me, all the students are encouraged to participate in the recitals.Students are also encouraged to take advanced performance opportunities, in church, school, and joint studio recitals. I must be notified at least one month in advance if the student desires to participate in the events.
