I had already had a plumber fix what turned out to be a longtime leaking toilet. He recommended the flooring around the toilet be replaced but didn't do that kind of work. He also suggested a piece of lead pipe he saw while repairing the toilet seal needed to be replaced but could not be reached until the floor was cut out. I had had trouble locating someone to do this job until I used Thumbtack. Five Star Plumbing and Remodeling's owner not only did both those repairs, he checked the joists for damage, painted mold-suppressing paint on them and both sides of the new wood floor, replaced leaking sink water lines he noticed and installed vinyl tile I already had available at my request. All in one day, important since I only have one bathroom. Thank you, Melvin Watson and Five Star. I will definitely recommend you anytime. And thank you Thumbtack for putting us in touch.
