Introduction: Since 2003, DJ John has been entertaining a diverse crowd of people from all ages, groups and ethnicity's. Wedding have been a specialty with Quinceaneras and Reunions a close second. School events and Corporate socials are fun as well. Where ever music accents the occasion you know DJ John can make the event that much better and exciting! Lets hear it from DJ John ........ Hi! ... I'm glad you are interested in my services. lets start here.... the first question most always is HOW MUCH! I do not have a Set Price! I will get you the best price according to the: Day of the event, type of event, how many guests, how long the event is, and any details, .... then i can make and offer / quote to a potential customer. Keep in mind, the quote I offer most all the time comes out to be fair, reasonable and budget affordable for the event. I work with an "Agreement" which is a flexible instrument that can be adjusted that both client and I understand easily without the word Contract. Weddings? ..., I can help you, walk you through with all your schemes, requests and entertainment you and your guests will like.... all day! This may include while guests arrive to the Ceremony, Dinner Music and the Dance. I will ask for a play list of your music, your favorites so I can mix... Party Style! Compared to other DJs. i want to earn your business and be trusted for your future events! I may not be the cheapest nor the most expensive..... but you will definitely get the best i can do... He was very accommodating. We had a mariachi band playing before he was scheduled and he came early to set up so that he wouldn’t disrupt the band or the event. The music was very diverse and almost everyone at the event got up at some point to dance.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    No! Your event is not standard, its special and unique like our pricing! "Its not complicated!" Not Every event is the same! We offer a Budget Affordable Rate ... NOT a standard by the hour Charge! Historically, Entertainment has been know to have an "Hourly Rate". This puts restraints on the customer (time the DJ starts, or finishes and has the client worried about TIME according to the DJ!). Our Offer (quote) will be based on details of the entire event BEFORE we put a price for services to your special day or important event that are flexible and easy to work with! Before an Offer can be calculated we ask questions: **What is the Date your event will be? (no sense pricing if we are not available, right?) **Where is the event (Venue)? **How many guests do you expect? **Will there be food, dinner, snacks, etc.? **What time are guests expected to arrive? **What time is the event expected to end? (Note: for weddings or quinceaneras The entire day will be set aside and attention to detail (Your music lists, Itinerary schedule) will be discussed several weeks in advance). Some events have different schemes and traditions to follow ... We will make sure that those ideals are followed (easy and flexible to work with). So no matter the date, where the venue is, the size of the event or how long we have to play .... We can work it out!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Every client is different ... unique. I offer a service, so I there are no samples to taste, lol! One of the first questions I ask is "How did you hear about me / my business?" I look for a common ground, in my case MUSIC would be the popular subject (this starts a conversation). By building a mutual trust, I want to earn a business relationship to assist new clients where ever they have questions about: other services (venues, shops that sell goods they might need, caterers) and things they may or may not have thought of to accent their event. I use the approach; a no obligation to hire me! this way if we cant do business now, maybe they will remember me for the future.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    YES!! everyday we load up and head to school (the event), with some simularities of setting up, every crowd teaches us something new every show! We update equipment every chance we get, then we figure out how to incorporate it to the show! We also purchase new music as needed for every show as well!!
