I had an issue where I’d periodically lose power in the house. It’s been a while but I think the electrician was Rueban. De diagnosed right away the problem, the original breaker on the power company pole was shorting out. He contacted PEC electric and made arrangements to get an entire new box and breaker. All were installed that late day and it was after sunset when it was all done. Highly recommended!

Inquired, and the next day, they came out and installed 5 outlets for a reasonable price. Explained everything very well and gave better suggestions than my ideas. They even let me add an extra outlet when they arrived. I am very happy with the work, and all outlets have been in use for a week with no issues. Highly recommend!
We had a circuit breaker that kept tripping. We were concerned about safety and of course, the cause. Ruben (ZRK Electric) responded to my application on Thumbtack while I was waiting on a response from another company (never responded). Ruben was willing to do the job quickly and I agreed to let him make the needed repairs. In troubleshooting he found that not only a heating element on our water heater was bad but also the wall plug was pretty loose (inside the plug) and the circuit breaker was close to the high limit, when under a load. Ruben did the work as well and efficiently as possible. The charge for the job was very fair (even got a Senior Discount) and he did the job without a mess being made. In talking to Ruben, he is a good Christian (active in his church) and a loving father to 3 children. The company's initials are the first initials of his children AND he has caricatures of them on the back of his business card. How great is that? I'll not hesitate to call ZRK Electric for any future electrical needs. If you are looking for honesty, dependability and quality...don't hesitate, CALL ZRK ELECTRIC.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to be as affordable as I can be. I understand that electrical work can be expensive and necessary so being accessible to ALL customers is my goal.
Service call fee : $50
Labor/hr : $100
*Military and Senior discount : 10% each
Plus we have a referral program with customer incentives! Ask us about it!!
*Military discount applies to active military and Veterans.
*Senior discount applies to customers age 65 and older
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Treat them like family!! We are all about making our customers feel like they are as important to us as family. We explain over a phone conversation what the job will entail, pricing in detail, along with customer feedback(wants, must haves, etc.)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 18 years in the Electrical Trade. 4 years of Electrical Trade School with multiple certifications. From Residential to Industrial, my experience is very broad. I am a Master Electrician and Owner of ZRK Electric. As a company we are Licensed and Bonded for your safety so providing the best service for our customers is of highest priority.
