I highly recommend MJ's Electrical Service. This was my first experience with them, and they delivered exceptional service and expertise! I have a customized older house, and other electricians have had a difficult time solving issues. Mike worked diligently to figure out and isolate the problem, and kept me in the loop the entire time. He was a really nice guy, and easy to work and communicate with.
Provided a good enough service that my realtor has added them to her last of recommended electricians.
Chris went above and beyond in every single aspect of his work within my home. He communicated clearly and was very thorough and thoughtful in every task he performed. His many years of quality experience as an electrician was apparent as he was able to overcome some of the most unexpected and challenging surprises throughout his time at my home. Between his experience, professionalism, and thoroughness, he is pricesely the reason why everyone should hire a mindblowingly good electrician (like him) rather than settle for a run-of-the-mill, lowest-bidder, no-name “electrician”. Do yourself, your home, and your safety a favor, and hire an outstanding professional like Chris to perform any/all electric work!
I hired Express Electrical Services for installing two outdoor outlets. Gary was prompt in arriving at our house and his work was neat and thorough. The job took longer and required more work than originally thought so the cost was a bit more than initially quoted, however Gary's price was still very reasonable. I'll hire Gary again for sure next time I need electrical work done!
Mario kept me informed as to the time of arrival and he also followed up letting me know that one of his electricians would be coming to do the work. Ignacio "Nacho" was awsome!!!! He went beyond just doint the work but agreed to do extra things that I needed done without hesitation. He even went and bought the parts he needed to complete the job. Thumbtack is first class in my book and Mario will be my Electrician of choice from now on!!! Thank you Mario and thank you Thumbtack you just got a customer for life!!!
Mark exhibited professionalism during his short visit. What might have taken much more time for one who was tentative and less proficient, was a rapid completion at a very low cost. I will call him for all my electrical challenges in the future.
Price should not always be the final deciding factor when you have the right expertise aligned to deliver excellence the first time! Yes, it is more uncommon for one to place cost of services secondary these days, but I'd like to challenge you to think differently for a moment. Please allow me to share with you why: I hired Juan with Silver & Black Electric Services to install electrical for my hot tub. To start, my hot tub was not delivered in accordance to the expected timeline. This made coordinating the electrical hookup in advance complicated and frustrating. From the time I began communication with Juan is where complication and frustration transformed into action and commitment! Previously, I had requested quotes a couple weeks back. Silver & Black Electric Services provided me a reasonable bid up front, but it was not the first I investigated further. I sought a few other opinions and was indifferent regarding their inspection of the scope of work on-site, planning, supplies, scheduling appointment returns, and cost. When my hot tub finally did arrive, it was impossible to get anyone to engage timely. Typical how these things always seems to actually work in reality? Your not alone! Pay attention! This is where Juan with Silver & Black took the lead! Upon my first inquiry the evening before the install, I inquired on availability from Silver & Black Electric Services via Thumbtack App built-in Chat. Juan was impressive with his fast turnaround offering me reasonable install window options -- so much so that he eventually worked with me one-off to make accommodating arrangements with my rather complex scheduling requirements. As most electricians would want to do, Juan requested an on-site inspection. I informed him of some of my limitations and he worked with me to gather the information he needed to assess the job, provide me feedback, and coordinate the timeframe. Juan asked the right questions and I appreciated that as it demonstrated to me he was sincerely concerned about meeting my objectives and that he would be delivering with accuracy. While there was some variance in his actual start time, I was impressed with Juan's action-oriented behavior and intense focus in doing what he needed to do to obtain all supplies for his work to deliver to his installation commitment. Impressive. Juan completed all work within the timeframe he estimated. He even went above-and-beyond and offered recommendation on another nearby, unrelated electrical modification. Juan actively communicated with me through the Thumbtack App all the way through the completion of the work, so I felt confident with the status updates on his work. Upon final inspection of the installation, Juan took the time to give me an overview of his work. I observed this and took note of his delivery of detail which translated into his passion and pride in the work he does. He exuded focus, patience, and was a pleasure to converse with. I never felt pressured, rushed, or belittled by my knowledge [or lack thereof] in the electrical realm. This is to be noted as we have all previously dealt with tradesmen and his/her unfiltered, condescending tone. Finally, Juan adhered to his quoted price for services and was prompt in finalizing the transaction. This was refreshing from the low-ball, inch up approaches that I have previously experienced on other hires. One highlight in particular I took observation on was that Juan took the time to clean up his work (i.e., sawdust, loose parts/screws, crumpled paperwork, etc.). I can't tell you the last time I had an installer [even good installers] truly leave the site as one would expect. Wow! Thank you! Juan, so glad that my hot tub arriving late caused my unforeseen panic as it allowed me the opportunity to put your services to the test! You delivered! After this experience, I would not even waste time bidding/calling/waiting before engaging Juan with Silver & Black Electric Services for my next electrical need!
Marc installed a chandelier in our hallway with no problem. Other electricians had looked at the install and refused to do the job. He had no problems. He was on time, very efficient and cleaned up after the job was done.
Hamilton and his crew were very professional and their work was completed in the stated time. We will be calling him back for future electrical work.
Very polite, friendly. Got the job done in a timely manner. Cleaned up after himself. Made sure I was satisied with the project prior to leaving. Will definitely have him back to do any electrical work in the future.
Marcus was great to work with. His professionalism and knowledge were just some of the great points of service that I experienced from him and All N 1 Electric. He got the job done quick, efficient and at a very affordable price. He was easy to talk to and answered all my questions without hesitation. I know that any time I have friends asking for a great electrician or if I need any other work done, All N 1 Electric is where I will turn to first. Definitely a cut above the rest. If you need electrical work done be sure to give them a call.
Excellent! Here's who we'll be using for our electrical needs. He replaced 4 light fixtures (ceiling fan + 3 chandeliers) in our home. Professional and responsive and kept in contact. Obvious he knew what he was doing and experienced. Handled the job with ease, left areas clean, and hauled away unneeded boxes. Highly recommend.
Everything went well. The work done was very professional and exactly what I wanted done. He installed a ceiling fan where a broken fan had been; He returned again at my request and installed a porch ceiling fan, and security motion detector lights. He ran all the wires through the attic so the resulting work was beautiful and clean. I just had him return today to install a light fixture over the dining room table. He is very knowledgeable about the work he did. He gave me options and suggestions about outlets and things I had not considered. He several times made the trip to Home Depot to pick up supplies to get the job done. He even helped me go online to pick out the best type ceiling fan for the porch. He is extremely polite and stays on the job without wasting time. I believe he is relatively new to working with customers but it was all to my advantage b/c I would rather have some one who just wants to make an honest living versus someone just interested in a quick buck. He is extremely conservative in his pricing. I gave him extra most visits b/c I thought he deserved more $ than he was asking. I had a long list of to-dos electrically and they are all done. He was available within a reasonable time and arrived on time or called me if he was running late. This man is THE ELECTRICIAN to hire. You won't regret it.
CB Elec Services did a magnificent job! Charles came the same day I posted the job requirements, completed the project in less than an hour and was very professional. I would definitely hire him again in the future.
We needed an electrician right away, and Moses came to the rescue. He took care of our problem and was very reasonably priced. We are definitely using him for our future electrical needs! He is a great guy you can count on.
Professional and experienced. All electrical work was completed timely and with charges as discussed. We recommend Daniel Leal.
Actual cost of just the fix I needed was $125, lower than quoted and pretty average compared to other offers I had before approaching thumbtack. The lead plumber was using this job as a teachable moment showing his colleague step by step what ought to be done so I knew they were handling the job seriously and doing it right. Feeling confident they would not cut corners, I went ahead and hired them on for additional installation of a garbage disposal so this kind of clog never happens again. I feel they overcharged me for the garbage disposal unit itself though. After researching the price of the Badger 100, $84.96 online, compared to the $350 charge, that's a bit more of a mark up than I expected. In all, they charged me $700 for the whole thing. The new guy also cracked the plate on the electrical outlet while trying to remove it and it was not entirely put back properly, but its not a huge deal. One of the screws is still sticking out but I can get that easy. Everything under the sink is top-notch though and that's what counts. They found the junction behind the dishwasher and rewired it properly so there is an outlet under the sink and an exterior switch now. The installation is certainly something I couldn't have done myself. They also responded much faster than any other service I've ever had. I had been waiting for AAA Auger for 3 hours and they showed up in about 45 minutes and were done within 4-5 hours. I'd say if you have a bit extra in your emergency funds to spend and want quality work where it counts FAST then this is a great option. I have renters here, so getting it done right and fixed immediately was important to me from a business standpoint. I am glad I hired them to do the job because there were certain nuances to the roto-rooter process I was unfamiliar with. I did not buy the garbage disposal myself because I wasn't sure which kind would be best for the sink, but didn't realize the mark-up was going to be that extreme. I'd say buy your own moving parts if you want a similar project done.
Jamie was the first to enter a bid for this job, and he was the lowest, by far. After a couple emails, we got in touch by phone. He could come out in Tuesday, but I told him I was hoping to get the work done today, as a surprise for my out-of-town husband. Even though it was not an emergency, Jamie came to my house ON A SUNDAY. He made an appointment for 6 pm, but then called and moved it up an hour. He needed a certain type of screw, and ran out to get them during the service call and didn't charge me for them. The job was done quickly and well. I will not hesitate to use him again if another electrical job is needed. I paid him more than the estimate, because he was on the job for over two hours. Jamie also repairs cell phones and small electronics. I wish I'd know that when I donated the broken flat screen TV yesterday...
