Since we did the whole wedding planing in less than teo months, it wasn't easy to find a photographer. However, I used Thumtack and Jocelyin was the only one whose work I liked and that didn't ask for abnormal anount for her work. She even waited for me for week or two to tell her if we will hire her. Before the wedding she sent me an email saying how to prepare everything and what to expect from her. On the wedding day she came earlyer than it was planed, took photos of around, paying atention on details. She was rushing from one to another room to capture both of us. At the ceremony she captured moments and the emotions, which was the most important to me. After the ceremony, we walked troug the city, taking photos. Even tho we were a little hard to work with, she was patient and helpful. She was rushing all the day, all around, taking photos of everything. She even stayed a little longer than she had to, because she wanted to take photos on sunset and to make my wish come true (I wanted some photos from the middle of the street). We got married at the end of June, got some highligt photos at the end of July and in the middle od September we got all photos. It was said we'll get around 400-600 photos, but she sent us 1000 or more. At the end I have to say that she was very professional, responsive, responsivle, accurate and easy to work with. HIGLY RECCOMENDED!

When we saw photos on Jocelyn's web-based blog, we admired her talent for capturing light and decided to hire her to photograph our wedding. In a nutshell, she was just fantastic to work with and her photos are phenomenal. Add to that her easy style and her wonderful attention to detail and we would highly recommend her to photograph any special life event!

Jocelyn was so sweet and kind, there was complete understanding and during the flow of the wedding and her plus photographer were all so helpful at making our wedding day at the Trivium stand out. The pictures she took spoke to us even 1 year later, we look at them and can see the moment that was captured at it's most genuine sparkle. Jocelyn is very comfortable to work with, even the engagement photo at our college it was really just a lovely experience and no hassle, no fuss, just easy and good delivery. She was exceptionally professional with everyone at the wedding event, with us as a couple, as she is married also she really knew what was the key ingredient to getting a wedding shoot and bridal combo just right. Jocelyn was really flexible with location and price was really great too for the quality that was delivered, top-notch both. More so, Jocelyn listened to us- to what we wanted in our photos and to our vision for this great event. She understood that we had less than 4 months to plan and prep, we also had bridesmaids coming in from all over the country and family from all around the globe, plus an event planner who was brilliant too (check out Lauren Macmillian@ A Little Event Party Planning Lynchburg VA) plus make up artist, bartender, and everyone who worked with us Jocelyn is so loved! Plus she was always on time, and ready to roll. Photos came out in time, and we got USBs for them too to share with family overseas.
