FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I wouldn't consider it too complicated but for some people it might be. So what we started doing is giving you a price for labor, which will never change no matter what stone you select. And then providing the list of options, there are hundreds of colors to choose from, so we prefer to give you a price breakdown on material. That way you get a clear picture of what is it that you are installing in your kitchen, and what is it really worth.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My family has been in this business for three decades. When I was 16 I started working par-time as a polisher, and started my knowledge from there on. Once I learned everything there was to learn (the basics) I started my own company. In this trade you are always learning as time passes by, there are more techniques, new machines and everything is progressing to make the job easier and provide the tools to make it close to perfect. I'm not a big company with financed machines, I think Its better to provide jobs for the community, and also have well qualified technicians on site (installers that know what they are doing and are not just installing something a robot fabricated). It has worked for me and my family for many years.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We usually deal with homeowners. Builders and designers. We've done some commercial jobs but most of our work come from people wanting to take their time with their stones to try to achieve the look that they seek.
