Professionalism, punctuality, and flexibility. I was late returning home; he was already at my home, ready to get to work. He was efficient and did not take long to repair both windows. One window was shattered and another had a crack along the middle of the glass. Fair pricing and willing to work with you as long as it’s reasonable.

We are so happy we hired Charlie with DalTex to fix our window! We had one window that would not stay open and were afraid we would have to replace it. Charlie replaced two rods and fixed two latches that were out of alignment due to the rods breaking, and now the window works again. I wish Thumbtack would let me pick more than three things that we liked about working with a contractor: Charlie was quick to respond, honest, punctual, quickly fixed the issue and charged us a very reasonable price. He also took the time to show and explain to us the mechanics of our windows, which was incredibly helpful. This is the newest house we've owned, so the windows are different from anything we've encountered in the past. We 100% recommend Charlie with DalTex, and will absolutely contact him again for all our future window needs. Thank you, Charlie!!!

Charlie did a great job. He replaced my window and cleaned up after. It was as if it never happened. Really nice gentleman too.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary depending on multiple variables - size, tint, tempered, obscure, internal mutton bars, and labor
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact you at my earliest convenience to discuss your needs and schedule a time to come out to take measurements. Once measurements are taken I will finalize an estimate. If the estimate is approved I require a deposit of half down before ordering the glass. If you decide to cancel before the job is done you will be refunded minus the cost of the glass. When I receive the glass from the manufacturer I will contact you for install and remaining payment.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My childhood friend got me a job with his commercial glass company in Dallas where I worked for 10 years. I moved to San Antonio and continued in the commercial glass business before moving to residential glass 10 years ago.
