- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Setting up an initial informal meeting to get to know one another. Then take the first step by doing a needs analysis. What does the customer or family of the customer want to achieve by hiring me? What is the most important item on their list and when does this item need to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degree in Health Communication San Diego State, Certification in Home Modifications from USC School of Gerontology, Certified Aging in Place Specialist NAHB (National Association of Home Builders)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I modified my mom’s home for accessibility and safety when she became ill. I have a background in interior design and decorating with a bachelor of science degree in Health Communication. The combination of the two give me perspective on the importance of ones environment for overall well being.
