FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our foundation inspection is free. We provide a professional evaluation of the visible foundation concerns, exterior conditions, drainage issues, and signs of movement at no cost. If repair work is needed, we provide a clear repair plan and estimate. Repair pricing depends on the foundation type, severity of movement, access conditions, number of supports needed, tunneling or breakout requirements, drainage concerns, permits, and engineering requirements. We explain the scope before any work begins so the customer understands exactly what is included. We may also offer discounts or promotional pricing depending on the project size and schedule availability.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we ask for the property address, photos of the concern, and a short description of what the customer is noticing, such as cracks, uneven floors, sticking doors, gaps, or drainage problems. Next, we schedule a foundation inspection. During the inspection, we review visible damage, evaluate the foundation type, check exterior drainage and moisture conditions, and look for signs of movement. We take elevation measurements to better understand the foundation behavior. After the inspection, we explain the findings in clear language. If repairs are needed, we provide a repair plan, estimate, and timeline. Once approved, we coordinate the next steps, including engineering, utility marking, permits when required, repair work, cleanup, and final documentation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has hands-on experience inspecting and repairing foundations in Central Texas soil conditions, especially expansive clay soils that can cause foundation movement. We work with slab-on-grade foundations, pier and beam foundations, crawl spaces, drainage problems, moisture-related movement, and structural access needs such as tunneling. We also work with engineers when required for repair planning, permit support, and final project documentation. Our training comes from practical field experience, industry methods, structural repair processes, and working directly with homeowners, realtors, property managers, and contractors.
