Jason is a hell of a trainer. He is very knowledgeable about everything from strength training to kick boxing to martial arts. I've had the pleasure of being his client for over a year and did an amazing job helping me with everything. In addition, his knowledge of nutrition is amazing. He is determined, ambitious, and just down right fun to be around. I'd recommend anyone needing to get better or just starting out to take him on and he will make whatever you want happen.
Jesse's classes are fun and addicting. Every week it's some thing different, and it keeps my muscles working. I especially like the atmosphere his classes foster. Every one is friendly and encouraging, and we all keep each other motived in taking control of our health! I've been working out with Jesse for slmost a year, and my friends and family all tell me they've seen a noticable difference nit only in my body and weight, byt in my oersonality as well. It's great to feel healthy and energized, and Jesse and his classed make it possible for me! I recommend it to anyone at any level!
DSSI is the best karate organization. It has a lifelong mission to train and inspire kenpo karate style katas, weapons and self defense techniques. DSSI unique instructional focus, training plan and materials effectively assist all students...young or old, male or female, beginner or advanced. It is the consummate karate family training environment!
My experience with Mr. Jackson at the Professional Karate Institute is always high energy. He focuses his time and attention on his class objectives while maintaining a personal bond with his students. I always leave the class feeling better than when I arrived.
The training I've received from Mix It Up has been so beneficial is many ways. The training is practical - something that I greatly appreciate, as my time and efforts are valuable, but also because the techniques are explained and make sense and are therefore easier to pick up, regardless of your fitness or coordination level. I know some people that think they have to "get in shape" before joining a gym or training program. Usually because their previous class experience was with a huge group of people and only one instructor that never gave them any feedback or helped them during class. That's not the case at Mix It Up! All of the training is done from a ground-up approach, and start with the basics, so ANYONE can do it!! They also offer more advanced classes and take a personal interest in your progress, making sure you are getting the training you need at the right time. I've seen the owners, Chris and Jennifer Coble, take time to talk with each person that walks through the door - finding out what they're interested in and making tailored suggestions for each person. The classes include a lot of one-on-one training within a comfortable group setting, so I always feel like I'm getting good feedback and personalized instruction. I've met and made a lot of friends through the MIU center and always look forward to classes; which vary from low-impact Pilates to Bootcamp, boxing and self-defense. The positive, family-friendly environment isn't at all what I expected from a mixed martial arts place (I was thinking Rocky & raw-eggs or Mr. Miyagi or something)! But MIU offers such a broad range of classes and personal training, there really is something for everyone from senior citizens to professional athletes...and all of US in between! It's neat to see parents and their kids working out in the same place and the instructors help encourage the camaraderie. The Krav Maga training I've received has had a lot of positive influence on my daily life - the conditioning increases your body awareness and general movement, and the cardio aspect is great! Having no previous knowledge of any martial arts or self-defense, I was pleasantly surprised to find how rewarding the classes are - not because I perform well, but because I performed at all! It's empowering to try something new and to test your limits a little bit, especially b/c you almost always find out you can do much more than you thought! And while I hope to never find myself in a situation where Krav Maga training or self-defense is necessary, it's a nice feeling to know you've just spent an hour going through a great total-body workout...that might also one day save your life."
I can't say enough positive things about Coach Lobo and my results!! I have been training with him just over two months now and I have lost 18 pounds! I'm happy because I feel better and have so much more energy. He has helped me with nutrition and healthy eating habits. My personalized workout NEVER gets boring because it is always evolving. If you want to look and feel better, he will take the time to make a personalized routine that will get you the results you want.
