- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The state of Texas mandates limits to the fees per initial signatures per document and the fees per additional signature within the same document. I show examples on my profile. Be aware that mobile Notary services also charge for the convenience of coming to you and sometimes per mile round trip as well
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I understand that customers looking for this service are usually in a time bind so I get to work immediately. I check my calendar to confirm availability. I map out the routes and note distances to start a rough estimate. I make contact with the customer for more detail information Eg: address, number of forms. Total signatures needed. Are printing, translating or interpreting services needed? Then I finalize the estimate, send it to the customer and confirm the time, date and location for the appointment.
