What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am largely self-taught in the photographic arts but continue to seek out new ideas and learning opportunities. I am currently learning to produce prints utilizing methods of the 1800âs, both Vandyke and Salt Print photography. I am also pursuing a degree in the Fine Arts.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Starting as a hobby, I enjoy hopping on my motorcycle, getting lost in the country and photographing all the way home. I then began incorporating my photographs into paintings. Seen through the lens of a camera and brought to canvas through my interpretation of colors and style.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do not be afraid to ask any question and do not be afraid to compare. If I cannot answer your questions clearly and to your liking, I should not be your photographer.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I enjoy searching for that one special scene, from within the forest, driving in the country, or simply from my own backyard garden or yours. I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I hope you that you also will find beauty in my photography or paintings.
