Fotojobo Photography

I'm new to the San Antonio area and new to Thumbtack. However I'm not a novice photographer. I've done work across the country and collaborated with artists in Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Philadelphia. I'm a published and award winning photographer known for my international street photography and fine art photography. I use both digital and film formats. For my personal fine art work, I specialize in film, both 35mm and medium-format. Let me know if you're interested in a unique look that only film can bring. Almost everyone these days has a smartphone in their pocket or purse that can take amazing photographs. So when finding a great photographer, don't look for the person with fanciest camera, but someone who has the skill, artistic vision, and experience to make amazing images regardless of the camera. My artistic style comes out in my paid work. I'm very picky about the photography assignments I take. I'm on Thumbtack because I love photography and want to share my creative style with others so you wont find me taking jobs that don't fit my style of photography. I love shooting portraits of individuals, couples and families. I have an editorial/candid style in my portraiture photography (check out my photos). I don't shoot sterile studio portraits. I figure there are a lot of places already out there for that. I prefer my portrait sessions to be on location either at the client's place of work, home, backyard, or out enjoying life. I also love the challenge shooting restaurants, bars, and food. I love meeting and interacting with people and I love sharing my artistic vision with others. Every photography assignment is treated like the creation of art. Photography is more than pointing a camera and pushing the shutter. The process of creating a photograph starts with a vision of how the photo should look and emotions that it portrays to the viewer. The process also includes a deep understanding of the tools and principles of capturing light. I love working with clients and the process of creating that vision and transcribing it to a work of art that can be displayed and enjoyed.
