Al was a genius. He was on time, brought all of the necessary equipment and then some, and even wore a mask due to COVID-19. His craftsmanship was excellent and he even hauled away the packaging, swept, and vacuumed after the job. Not only do I recommend him, but I will definitely be using him again.Apr 11, 2020Verified
Alfonso showed a level of skill and willingness to help that I was not expecting from someone from Thumbtack. He was eager to do more work and the detail he put into the job made me feel I was getting value and quality within my budget, and he brought all the equipment needed to do the job right, much of which would be a significant investment for me if I did it myself. I am hiring him to do two or three more lines of ethernet, and I look forward to looking him up for even more work in the future.Aug 25, 2018Verified
Switch and Outlet Installation
My first try at Thumbtack so I was a little nervous and unsure what to expect. But I couldn’t be happier with Mr. Gutierrez who was responsive to my request, professional, reliable, and an absolute expert electrician. He worked quickly, had all of the necessary equipment and tools, and was extremely courteous and pleasant. He kept everything clean and tidy and that was important in my bedroom. I have +100% confidence in Mr. Gutierrez!Jun 14, 2018Verified
It was a pleasure working with Al. He knew what he was talking about and took care of my issue quickly and efficiently. He's my guy for any of these types of projects I have in the future.May 7, 2020Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge for the quality of my work you get what you pay for. You might think it’s a bit high at times but believe me lots of people end up paying twice. The second time to have me fix someone else’s mistakes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Making customer contact, walking the job and explaining to them what it’s going to take to get the job done right the first time around, that way they know what to expect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Electrical engineering associates degree. Was a electrician in the union. Was also a industrial mechanic and also maintenance.
