I’m so happy with how my chairs turned out. They were older pieces that I really liked but the upholstery was dated and worn. Corie helped me figure out what would work best and completely transformed them. The workmanship is beautiful, especially the piping and little finishing details. They honestly look like completely different chairs now. I would absolutely use ThreadHaus Loft again.

I hired ThreadHaus Loft for a large interiorpainting project and had a great experience from start to finish. Corie was professional, dependable, and really paid attention to the details. There was quite a bit of prep work involved, and she took the time to do everything properly instead of rushing through it. The walls came out clean and even, the lines were crisp, and the whole space looked completely refreshed when she was finished.
She was also easy to communicate with, kept me updated throughout the project, and left everything clean when the job was done. I’m very happy with the results and would definitely hire her again for future painting projects.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every upholstery project is different, so pricing is based on the size and construction of the piece, its current condition, the materials needed, and the scope of work involved. I provide a clear estimate before beginning and discuss any additional repairs or changes that may affect the price. My goal is to give clients options that make sense for both their piece and their budget without compromising the quality of the work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by asking for photos of the piece, the customer’s goals, and any inspiration they have for the finished look. From there, I evaluate the scope of work, discuss fabric and material options, and provide an estimate. Once the project begins, the piece is carefully disassembled and inspected so any underlying issues can be addressed before rebuilding and applying the new upholstery.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My foundation came from hands-on training with my late grandmother, beginning when I was young. I learned sewing, upholstery techniques, and the importance of careful, detailed craftsmanship. Since then, I’ve continued developing those skills through years of hands-on experience, technical study, furniture restoration, refinishing, and increasingly complex upholstery projects.
