Was very professional and the permanent lighting was a fair price. Will recommended for people looking for christmas or permanent light installation.

Had a broken window and a few windows that were not staying up. Marc came out fixed the issues had the glass ordered and installed in under a week. He also gave a Veterans discount to an old Army Dog. Will reach out to him again if we have anymore issues with our windows.

I gave this contractor 3 stars because, though he was responsive, he failed to let me know that he was traveling from San Antonio and as a result, he charged me an announced $75 travel fee. Had I known he was coming from San Antonio to Austin I would have simply hired a local professional. Bottom line, had he told me this in advance I would have made a more informed decision. He took that choice away from me and I am not satisfied with this business practice. Transparency, is paramount when accepting a job, no matter the scope of the project. As for the work, great job, however I felt deceived by the unexpected and unannounced fee.

Details: Removal only • Roof • No, I will provide the lights myself • Less than 1,000 sq ft • Residential

M Zapata Contracting's reply
I'm sorry you feel this way. As a thumbtack contractor when we get instantly booked by the customer we get charged automatically regardless if we get the job or not. I was charged $45 for your booking. I gave you a more than fair price for the job that needed to be completed even with the trip charge considering you had a 2 story home with high pitches with over 150ft of lights and extensions. With what I charged minus the thumbtack charge, gas and time I think you came out on top.
