My reputation is more important to me than money. I’m a man of my word, and do everything to the best of my abilities. I’m not satisfied unless my customer is 100 percent happy with the job that was requested. I TIG weld a variety of materials and enjoy doing creative jobs. I worked as a helicopter mechanic for many years and am mechanically inclined. Also very handy with home remodeling as I’m currently remodeling my own home. I hired Cris to replace 2 ceiling fans, convert 2 recessed lights in a hallway to chandeliers, and to replace a light fixture in a closet. Cris was quick to respond to my request and scheduled my project within 2 days. He made sure to get all the important information to complete my project efficiently and professionally. Cris is a professional that takes pride in his work. His rates are very fair. He took care in everything that he did. He was at my home from 11:00am until 4:00pm. I was surprised at how quickly he completed all of the tasks that I requested in this time considering that he assembled both of the ceiling fans and installed them and they both had remote control functions. One of the ceiling fans had many blades and required more time than most to assemble but Cris did it without any problems. He converted the recessed lights to chandeliers without any issues, too. Cris was able to solve a problem with the new light fixture in the closet that did not include bolts long enough to mount properly to the ceiling. Everything is working very well and I could not be more pleased with the results.

Chris took on this project and was very considerate and conscientious about making it a personal tribute to my late brother. He left our loved one’s surfboard in its original form and made a usable comfortable bench without drilling any holes or changing anything unnecessary to make it safe and durable . We are pleased and grateful for his professional service and unique attention to the project.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price is cheaper when I work in my shop. I have a two hour minimum when I travel. The two hour minimum is $200.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to call them so we could discuss the details of the job. Once I have a good idea I will give them an over the phone quote. If they are happy with the quote, I show up and get the job done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an A&P license and have been working as a helicopter mechanic for 20 years. I also have always enjoyed working with my hands and creating, building and fabricating all sorts of things over the years.
