FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I understand that my prices may not be considered affordable for everyone, but I pride myself on delivering exceptional work and helping my clients bring their wedding dreams to life. My pricing reflects the level of skill, expertise, and equipment I bring to each project, as well as the time and effort required to deliver a final product that exceeds my clients' expectations. That being said, I also understand the importance of budgeting for my clients and I am always willing to work with them to find a solution that meets their needs and fits within their budget. I may offer discounts for certain types of projects or for booking multiple services, so I encourage my clients to ask about these options. In addition to my base pricing, there may be additional fees for services such as travel, equipment rental, or additional editing time. I make sure to clearly communicate any additional fees upfront, so my clients have a clear understanding of the total cost of their project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultation: This is the first step in which the videographer meets with the client to discuss their project requirements, vision, and goals. The videographer will listen to the client's needs, ask questions, and gather information about the project. Proposal and quote: Based on the information gathered during the initial consultation, the videographer will create a proposal and quote for the project, outlining the scope of work, timeline, budget, and deliverables. Planning and preparation: If the client agrees to the proposal and quote, the videographer will begin the planning and preparation phase. This may include scouting locations, creating shot lists, scheduling talent and crew, and obtaining any necessary permits. Filming: Once the planning and preparation is complete, the videographer will begin filming. This may involve capturing footage, setting up lighting, and conducting interviews. Editing: After filming is complete, the videographer will begin the editing process, which involves assembling the footage into a cohesive story, adding special effects, and incorporating music and sound design. Review and revisions: The videographer will present the edited footage to the client for review. The client may request revisions, which the videographer will make in a timely manner. Final delivery: Once the client is satisfied with the final product, the videographer will deliver the finished video, along with any additional assets or materials specified in the proposal. Follow-up: After the final delivery, the videographer will follow up with the client to ensure their satisfaction and to see if there is anything else they can do to help.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working as a videographer for more than 15 years, and have had the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of individuals and organizations, including cinematographers, freelance professionals, wedding planners, and more. This diverse experience has been my greatest teacher, and has allowed me to hone my skills and refine my craft. While I don't have a formal degree in videography or a related field, I have been actively working in the industry for over a decade and a half, and have developed a deep understanding of the technical and creative aspects of the profession. I have also had the opportunity to attend workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay current with the latest industry trends, technology, and best practices. I believe that my extensive hands-on experience, combined with my passion for videography, makes me well-equipped to deliver high-quality work and meet the needs of my clients.
