Chris wasn't the first company to come out and evaluate what it would take to repair our waterfall, but he was the first to actually get his hands dirty in order to accurately evaluate the scope of the work. He arrived on time, and did the repair in 108 degree temperatures outside. I had expected him to want to reschedule, but he wanted to get the job done.
The quality of the work was good, and it wound up that some parts weren't needed, so it came in under cost. Then he did a good job cleaning up afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending Lone Star Waterscapes.

Searched for pond cleaning services in San Antonio for about 2wks with almost no luck, then I stumbled on Lone Star Waterscapes and found Chris. He was the only one that responded and I’m so glad he was. Our koi pond was in pretty bad shape, overgrown algae, green water and dead vegetation. He did solid work assessing my pond’s condition, giving me a fair quote, coming in earlier than scheduled, cleaning it thoroughly from top to bottom and making it more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined. We can actually see our fish now! Not only did he do an outstanding job on the clean out, but he also gave us few pointers and followed up with some tips/products that would help us maintain the pond moving forward. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on the size of the pond or water feature.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call to the customer, where introductions are made and the customers desires are laid out. Pictures are sent to me of the area in question. If an agreement on what is wanted and expected is made, I will travel to the location and make a plan for installation or maintenance and a quote and scheduling is agreed upon. Items will be ordered and deliver prior to the instillation. The instillation will be competed during the time agree upon unless serious problems arise along the way. A week after instillation there will be an additional consultation checking into how the feature is performing, and if any small items need to be addressed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
6 years of pond maintenance and construction, training from aquascape on how to build ecosystem ponds. working with other aquascape contractors on their projects to gain additional insight.
