About
Hi! I am a professional musician teaching guitar, bass guitar, music theory, and songwriting, for a living. My Dallas band CALADIUM has published 2 albums while we are gigging and writing our 3rd. I also have 2 solo albums published as well, all of which are available wherever you stream music. I discovered my passion for music as a teenager and for over 20 years have pursued the study and creative process while performing with my band(s). I welcome students of all ages and skill-levels. I’ve been teaching professionally for over 5 years. While electric rock guitar is my muse, I genuinely appreciate all good music 🙌🎸🎶 Linktr.ee/CaladiumBand

I've been working with Brandon for a year now. He is a very patient teacher that in interested in working with students on their goals. We shift between bass guitar basic, techniques, and music theory keeping the lessons dynamic and fun. Brandon's passion for music is also evident at every lesson. Working with him is inspirational and fun.

As a mom, I can honestly say Brandon is the best guitar teacher we’ve ever had. We’ve tried many music schools and worked with several different teachers, but Brandon has been the best fit by far. He is knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. What I appreciate most is that he takes the time to understand each student and tailor the lesson to their ability and personality. For my then 9-year-old daughter, he doesn’t limit her to beginner-level material just because of her age. He recognizes what she is capable of and gives her the opportunity to learn more advanced music theory because he knows she can handle it. That kind of encouragement has made such a difference. Brandon challenges her in the best way while still making her feel supported and confident. We are so grateful to have found him.

I worked with Brandon for almost 2 years starting in 2024. I had already been playing guitar and making music for years, but wanted to step up in a few areas with some professional guidance. He helped me break out of my own mold and learn how to get more creative with the fretboard, chords, music theory, and songwriting. His lessons were always tailored with my music taste in mind, so it kept it interesting. These days I feel much more confident and able to write more interesting music than I could before.

I work with Brandon professionally in our band Caladium. I would not be the guitarist/bassist I am today without his teaching. He has made music theory simple and if I still have questions, he's there to explain it again and again. He is very patient and passionate about our choice of instruments, quality of work and our journey. Ive leaned more about modes than ever with this guy and how key changes can enhance songs such as our songs "Bored" and "Scream from the Roofs". Bottom line: He makes it fun and easy. The workload you need is up to how your progressing with it. If you need more time, cool.. if you need a challenge and have shown you can handle it, he's all for it.
