The cost for my services are $250 per month.
Hi guys, my name is Candice and I’m new to thumbtack, however, I’m not new to the nutrition field. I’ve been a Nutritionist for the past 5 years. The difference with my services compared to other Pros, is that I am a Certified Nutritionist (BSC) providing a 24/7 service (as my client you have my personal contact which grants you access to me round the clock) I provide remote services in both Clinical Nutrition (disease management, disease prevention) and Sports Nutrition (increase athletic performance, increase muscle density, nutrition requirements for exercise training and recovery) which is inclusive of; nutrition consultations, personalized meal plans and nutrition counseling for those who are dedicated to making a change with their health.
I graduated with honors in the BSC Human
Nutrition and Dietetics. I've also accomplished my Diploma in Education and have taught in 3
different schools. I've successfully worked for 2
nutrition companies during the past 4 years, before
deciding to move and start my own nutrition business.
As a Sports Nutritionists I've worked with
professional athletes as well as teenage athletes. As a Clinical Nutritionist I’ve worked with clients who have been pre diagnosed and those struggling to manage health conditions. I’ve dealt with clients who's goals were to, lose weight, maintain weight, gain weight, gain muscle, increase speed, increase energy level, reduce recovery time as well as those with health issues such as diabetes, hypertension, eating disorders, gastrointestinal disorders along with a number of other dietary restrictions. I've also worked as a personal Nutritionist to celebrity clients.
From an early age, I resolved to pursue a career in Nutrition with the aim of contributing to people's well-being and fostering healthy lifestyles, more so, after my aunt passed away from colon cancer at the age of 22. My granny then passed away from hypertension at the age of 67, both diseases highly affected by lifestyle choices. Those untimely deaths have lead me to dedicate my life to helping individuals and families live a long, happy, healthy life. My motivation behind becoming a Nutritionist has always been to educate people on improving their lifestyle, by the use of food and nutrition to promote health and manage disease, whilst still being able to enjoy your favorite things.
I believe doctors help patience to get better, while
nutritionist help and educate you on not falling ill in the first place. As a Nutritionist I believe healthy eating is a lifestyle, all foods should be enjoyed in a healthy moderation and and physical activity is crucial in maintaining a healthy weight. My personal contact information will be provided to all my clients to allow access to me at anytime. I will be available every step of the way. 1. Nutrition: We'll discuss your weight goals, whether its losing weight, maintaining weight or gaining weight. We'll then discuss if theres any health issues that needs to be addressed. We can then take a closer look at your current nutrition status by implementing the diary method where you log your 24hr diet recall. We'll then be able to improve diet with the necessary nutrients needed to meet your nutrition goals and needs. Food preferences will also be discussed as I believe food should be enjoyed and not deprived.
2. Physical Activity: We'll first address your current activity level to suggest improvements that can be made. If you are currently not working out, no worries, we can start small and eventually have a fitness routine. We can create a fitness routine that can be implemented in your lifestyle thats comfortable and realistic. The fitness goal, is to help you feel and look your absolute best!
3. Mindset/Motivation: To start, the fact that you're reading this, tells me that you are ready to be your best healthy self. You are already off to a good start taking the initiative to improve your lifestyle. I will help you every step of the way whether you are following the detail nutrition plan or striving to do so. I will be here to motivate you and listen to your every need so we can successfully reach all your nutrition goals through consistency and a positive mindset.
4. Accountability: We hold ourselves accountable for all our decisions. We are honest with ourselves and strive to make improvements where we see fit.

I provide a free consultation weekly so we are able to discuss the previous meal plan and work together on making any necessary adjustments. Questions are encourage, as my goal is to educate as much as I can.
