I have been teaching for 40 years. My students are pop singers, rock singers, country singers, singer song writers, and musical theatre performers. My musical theatre singers are performers in theatres in DFW , national tours , regional theatres , and in New York. I work with singers who are worship leaders in churches in DFW. I help my students prepare for auditions, gigs, solo performances, and worship services. I also work with rock singers who are trying not destroy their voices in the process of singing. This is a particular challenge because of the range and volume that genre demands. My specialty is adding vocal range to voices and teaching students to sing without damaging their voices which is very prevalent with todays singers. I make drastic changes in voices and levels of confidence in a very short period of time . I enjoy hearing the progress in my students voices and being a part of helping them achieve their dreams through music.

I worked with Tracie while home this summer from college, and I'm so glad I did. Tracie will give you her honest opinion and genuinely wants her students to improve. She helped me break bad habits, showed me new techniques, helped me discover my own voice, as well as introduced me to new music! Tracie is professional, personable, and wonderful at what she does. I've been working with Miss Petri for almost 3 years now and I could not be happier! She is a great vocal coach! She knows exactly what she is doing. You might think that you are as good as you can be but she teaches you techniques that you are not aware of. She is so supportive of my daughter and are so glad we found her! You wont find anyone better than her.
