I live in an apartment complex in Tyler, TX. While taking a walk, I noticed a van parked in our parking lot that said Air-RX duct cleaning. I knew that the air ducts in our apartment had never been cleaned in the five years that we had lived there, and I doubted if they had ever been. I called Air-RX, got a free estimate (which was very affordable,) and made an appointment. The gentleman that did the work was very polite, and knowledgeable. He said that it would take about an hour, but ours was so dirty, it took a couple. He was very thorough and even took pictures in the ducts before he cleaned and after to show me the difference. I was amazed, and pleased, at what he did. He cleaned our vent covers and made them look brand new. He sprayed the mold and mildew that has accumulated in the ducts, and also a sanitizer to kill any bacteria and viruses present. He cleaned up after his work was finished, and even put brand new screws in our vent covers that had been painted over for years now that is what I call real service! My wife has had an awfully bad cough when she gets up in the mornings for quite a long time now. She was sure it was because of our two cats and the pollens in the air. This morning, after having the air ducts cleaned, the cough was gone. Having dirty air ducts in your home can be very detrimental to you and your familys health. I highly recommend getting them cleaned (they suggest, at least, every two years,) and I HIGHLY recommend Air-RX to do the job.
