FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Wilco Electric, we use upfront flat-rate pricing — that means you know the exact cost before any work begins. No hourly rates, no surprises, no watching the clock. With time-and-material pricing, your bill goes up every time the job takes longer than expected. With us, the price we quote is the price you pay, period. We believe you deserve to make an informed decision before you commit, and that's exactly what upfront pricing gives you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new customer gets the same experience from the start. When we arrive, we perform a complimentary whole-home safety inspection to make sure we have a full picture of your electrical system. From there, we walk you through exactly what we found, what we recommend, and why — no pressure, just straight answers. All pricing is presented and approved before a single tool comes out. You stay informed and in control at every step, and the work doesn't start until you're completely comfortable with the plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team brings over two decades of hands-on industry experience to every job. Wilco Electric operates under a licensed Master Electrician, and every technician on our team holds a minimum of a Journeyman license — so you can trust that whoever shows up at your door is qualified and licensed to do the work. Beyond licensing, every technician goes through our in-house training program as well as extensive training through external industry programs. We don't cut corners on who we put in your home.
