FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep my prices low because I enjoy what I do. That does not mean the service is any less than those DJ's that charge more. I know what most other DJs in this area charge and most of my packages are quite a bit lower than any of theirs. My packages are already offered at a substantial discount comparatively. I will further discount your package if a)it's an open (non booked) date and b) if you tend to book multiple events or c) if it's for a non profit organization. Packages vary depending on times, number of guests, equipment needed, lighting desired, etc.. A typical small wedding reception of around 5 hours starts at just $500.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will meet or have a phone conversation with all new customers and find out what it is they are wanting and discuss any questions or concerns they may have. A small retainer will reserve the date (applies towards total due). Once the date is reserved, We will send a contract, invoice, and wedding day/event day worksheet to help plan the flow of events for the day. We will work together closely with the client or planner to make sure the event flows smoothly and goes according to plan.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been DJing in various forms for 20 plus years- Let's just say long enough to know what the D in DJ stands for- LOL. I am a member of several DJ websites, and social networking DJ groups and The ADJA- American Disc Jockey Association.
