- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We utilize a computer software program which is also used by claims adjusters making our pricing seamless and easy to approve.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up an appointment for a free quote. Once the scope of work is determined, the needs and wants of our clients, then we submit pricing for review. In the case of remodels we have a designer that can help the client envision and communicate what they really are looking for so that the pricing is based on real products and a level of design. If we are pricing a roof we always coordinate with the insurance claim if required to help this process go easy. In roofing, once we have agreed on pricing we ask for a down payment, schedule the work and complete it per an agreed schedule with the client. If the job is a remodel we will submit a contract with an agreed payment schedule.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Dean Caldwell is a third generation contractor. His Father was a Fort Worth Fireman that provided roofing on the side. Dean started in this business as an Insurance adjuster and knows the ins and outs of this industry. Later, he took over his fathers business and began roofing & remodels under the company name JD Caldwell Construction.
