- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My service prices vary dependent upon the job requested. Wedding and event pricing usually runs around $300.00 per hour, but I give custom quotes all of the time. I offer flexible payment options. If someone really wants to hire me but I am out of their budget, I will work with them to get something within the budget they require.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have alot of jobs I am proud of. For many years, I have been involved in an organization called Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. I provide images for families of stillborn and terminal infants. This is a completely free service and while I do not make a dime off of it, I find that it is the most important work that I do. I am insanely proud of this service.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find someone who's work you connect with. If they are over your budget, and you love their work, try to find a way to work out a payment plan, but do not hire someone because they are simply "within your budget" hire someone who's work makes you want to paper your walls with their images.
