Although it was a little more than I wanted to pay, I was ok with the bid to raise my concrete slab on the north side of my home (R.V. pad)...because the settling of the concrete slab caused pooling, especially around the window well...and would eventually go into the basement. After working on it a while, Steve stated that he couldn't raise the area around the window well because of the concrete lip surrounding the window well. I felt that he should have seen that when he inspected the job in the beginning. He apologized but charged me the original price anyway. I complained about this, so he dropped the price...but only $50. The area where I needed the lifting could not be lifted much at all. I felt that this should have been caught at the time of the inspection....prior to the work being done.

Steve was fantastic to work with. He lifted our sidewalk, roughly 4 squares and a square of our driveway. He completed the work quickly and expertly. We hired him to lift the cement, not to fill cracks, but he told me exactly what products to purchase, where to get them and how to fill the cracks. He gave advice and answered questions of no benefit to him but very helpful to us. I would highly recommend Steve for concrete lifting. He beat other quotes we received by half. Thank you fo a job well done!

I thought that my front walkway had sunk, but Landmark was able to not only correct me, but also show me where the source of my heaving slab of concrete. They were able to remove the tripping hazard by lifting the other slabs to match without leaving any cracks in the pavement. It was also very convenient that I didn't have to be there for them to do their work.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
we look at the panel of concrete that has settled and find how many cubic yards it has settled then convert that into pounds of material and charge the customer per pound of material.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read a lot about what other people are doing and try to glean something from it, I mostly work on perfecting my craft by practice and taking care of my equipment.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
my dad needed concrete lifting and after being stood up 6 times from 6 different contractors I saw a need in concrete lifting for great customer service and knew with my skillset I could provide that, so a year later of preparation we finally started the business and has been great for us and our customers.
