We had our engagement photos taken today, we aren't good with posing so she gave us direction and great ideas which was a big relief. She was very nice and great to work with, I can't wait to see the photos.

Just barely started but she caught our business out of all the others that messaged us on Thumbtack, with her friendly follow-up phone calls, her professional confidence-inspiring manner, her excellent package and pricing, her pleasing photograph album, and the fact that she has back-up photographers who are as professional as she is. We got our engagement photos with someone else, liked their work, but switched to Emily. We're impressed with the comments on her website from her previous customers, and look forward to her work with us.

Em is a truly gifted photographer. With technology today a lot of individuals, think they can just take their own pictures and then use photo shop to make "family photographs." I am telling you their is a distinct difference between a professional and an amateur. Em has the eye, and the creative sky to capture the true personalities, of each family. Em's prices are very reasonable, especially, after the images were sent back to us. Now the only problem is, choosing which pictures to choose. We will continue to use her in the future, relying on her for future senior portraits, wedding pictures, and of course, yearly family photos. I only hope she doesn't not retire any time soon.

FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A portrait session fee ranges from $250 to $450 and does not include prints or digital files. Portraits are revealed 1-2 weeks after a the photo session. All purchased prints come with their respective digital image and copy release. My clients can expect to spend anywhere from $800 to $5000 for the entire experience including print packages. However, there's no obligation to purchase prints after the shoot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We take a lot of time and attention to get to know everyone we work with. Each client gets an initial design session to plan the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Membership to IPPA, WPPI, PPA, and Portrait Masters Education. Working towards accreditation.
