I suffered a serious motorcycle accident and came to Dr Thomson for my physical therapy. I am a firm believer in the power of the body to heal itself through chiropractic care without the use of drugs and other medicine. Dr. Thomson helped me get full use of my knee, shoulder and arm. It was not painless because I had to get a range of motion back and I had been in casts and braces for months.
Dr Thomson used acupuncture needles and electrical stimulation therapy to help my muscles get used to being moved again. It also helped manage my pain. He taught me how to stretch and gave me assignments to complete at home. He explained that my healing was my responsibility and he would guide my body and prepare me to heal.
After a while I began to see improvement. I have my range of motion back and am relatively pain free. I recommend Dr. Thomson as a very effective alternative to the traditional medical solutions through drugs. I believe I am better off today than I would have been had I not come to see Dr. Thomson.
