Wow! Clark is amazing! Seriously, he is a super talented carpenter and I am so happy he reached out to me on Thumbtack. I had contacted multiple carpenters on Thumbtack for a smaller job and none of them got back to me. Thumbtack put out word about my project and Clark contacted me saying he was interested. I contacted him and he knew how to finish my project: building three new pull out drawers for an unfinished custom desk we have (and then also drilling holes for 22 cabinet knobs/pulls in perfect alignment!). He came over and took measurements, gave me a great price, built the drawers, and installed them beautifully all in under 24 hours!!! I'm still in shock how beautiful the drawers look and how quickly he got everything finished! I could not be happier. Clark is also professional, polite, talented, and a perfectionist in his work which is so appreciated in a trade I know practically nothing about (carpentry). Also, all 22 cabinet knobs/pulls were installed perfectly aligned! Thank you, Clark!

We are very happy that we were able to find Clark. We needed crown molding to match 100 year old mahogany trim in our home. He researched the style, wood and stain that we requested and was able to match it perfectly! Throughout the process, Clark kept us updated every step of the way and provided receipts for everything, which we greatly appreciated. In addition, he is very nice and easy to work with. Our whole experience with Clark was better than we ever expected!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer an hourly jobsite working rate of $75.00/hr plus materials for all finish carpentry. If the project is bigger, (most likely to be over $1,000) I will instead make a bid to present. If you are not pleased with my work, I will only charge for materials and tool usage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new people, I like to make a 5-7 minute call to get details about their vision about their project, and what our expectations are as carpenter and client. If we decide to move forward, I’ll take measurements on site and provide a bid usually within a few days. The bid includes a brief cost breakdown and a timeline for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
4 years as finish carpenter. Currently enrolled in the Construction Management program in college.
