After buying our first home, we decided to completely remodel it before moving in. We did about 90% of the work ourselves, but knew when it came down to the paint, we wanted a pro. After making a few calls to friends we trust and know have an eye for detail, it boiled down to two companies. After receiving a quote from both companies the choice was clear.....Lumos Paints!!!Not only was AJ cheaper, he just had a better vibe than his competitor. Because I trusted the referral source, I knew both companies would provide great work. But in the end, I felt like AJ was someone I would trust to work in my house when I wasnt around or when my wife was home alone (You cant put a price on something like that). No offense to contractors, but its not often you find one like that. While going through the painting process, about 3-4 days, I felt better and better about my choice. AJ almost always answered his phone when I called, and if he didnt, he called me back as quickly as possible. He cleaned up his mess at the end of every night, even if he was coming back first thing the next morning. Its small things like that that made me know AJ respected me and my new home. Towards the end of our project, I came home from work to find AJ painting rooms I was not paying him to paint (the rooms didnt fit in our budget). He knew we wanted to paint those rooms but that we were a little short on funds. I reminded him these rooms were not part of our final quote, he smiled and said I know! And just went back to painting. My tip to you; hire Lumos Paints and sleep easy knowing your possessions and loved ones are in good hands!

Arthur with Lumos did a great job painting our new house. We closed on our house and he had everything painted quickly so we could move in with a nice, fresh coat of paint.
