- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm always willing to have a discussion about price. It's important to me that the customer's goals align with the quality that I can offer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I do my best to provide a fair estimate based on the project details provided. My favorite part about working with a new customer is getting to meet them at the project site to discuss details and work to an agreement on a final price and timeline. Once I have an understanding of the customer's vision and we have agreed to move forward, I work closely with each customer in a framework of trust until the project is completed before I expect any payment.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up on a farm, and learned to fix things and figure out how to get things done. I make my living as an engineer, so solving problems is what I do.
