Introduction: Hey there! My name is DJ Max, and I’m here to make sure your event is one that you and your guests talk about for years to come. In 2015 I studied music production at ICON Collective Music School in Burbank, CA, and I am currently pursuing a communications degree at Utah State. I specialize in custom playlist curation and mixing songs suited to your taste and requests. With 20,000+ songs in my library, I have a wide variety and knowledge across genres. You name it, I can play it. I’m constantly updating my playlist with the latest hits, and have an excellent selection of classics as well. I hired DJ Max for my friends wedding. He did an incredible job at song selection and keeping the event going from activity to activity. The cost was very fair and we were really happy with his work.

Did an amazing job to meet the needs of our retreats red carpet night and at a very last minute time frame as our previous DJ bailed. Started with a mellow playlist while we had photos done and ate dinner and then cranked it up when the lights went low. He came with his own variety of new jams and old hitters while being extremely accommodating when we wanted to shake things up and took requests. Though his social media is mainly weddings and doesn’t look like people are super fun haha I can say they probably just had bad song requests. We had quite a blast. If we are in the area again he is on the list!

*Weddings are slightly higher priced than non-wedding events *Hourly rate discounted for events that are over 3 hours
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe communication is the key to making sure any event runs smoothly. I typically start by gathering basic information about the event, and then will ask some questions to better understand your vision, music taste, and your attending guests. I create custom personalized playlists combining all your favorites and requests with similar artists/songs/genres. If it is a wedding or formal event, I will then create an organized timeline for the event so that everything is coordinated, and will work closely with your wedding planner/coordinator if present.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2014, I attended ICON School of Music in Burbank, California, where I received certificates in music production, song writing, and music theory.
