David came out to give me an estimate within hours of requesting a bid. He was able to work me onto his schedule within two days. David was punctual, professional and very reasonably priced. I will use David again for any future electrical needs.

He was great! He responded quickly, clearly knew his stuff, and was very thorough.

He showed me a few extra things he saw that could be fixed, but didn’t push me on them when they were out of my budget.

Above all the work was done swiftly with great attention to detail and craftsmanship- and at a fraction of the other quotes I got.

Dave started really well on this job and appeared to be an excellent choice. After paying him 2/3rds of the mone a week later, everything changed. He agreed to come out Saturday and lower light wiring so we could continue with the walls. He didn't show or call. He came back and did some more wiring and requested a draw against the balance of the agreed amount. We gave him 1/2 half of the balance, another mistake. We contacted him on Monday when we were ready for him to complete the job, he said he would be there Wednesday, no show and no call. We called him, he said he would be there Thursday morning, again no show and no call. We called again late morning and he said he would be there that afternoon or Friday morning. I requested that he keep us in formed on his eta, no call. He finally showed up about noon on Friday and worked for 2 hours and left for lunch and parts and never returned or called. Late morning on Saturday we called and said we needed him to come back that day and install lights so we could see. He argued and was completely dishonest, making false statements that he had kept in touch with us all along the way. Shortly after the call, he called my husband and said he required respect and quit, leaving us completely screwed. We had to bring in another electrician that was had to do a lot of the work over! Do not use this guy, terrible investment of time and money.

DEW Electrical Contracting's reply

I have been in service for 24 years and take the utmost pride and kindness to all my customers. This job was very unique. I performed work on their mobile home and fixed all their issues in 3.5 days. They were happy with me and paid me approximately 75% of the total due. They were happy and moved on to the next steps. Come time for the trim I made full mention that I had a scheduling conflict until the end of the week. I tried every way to make them happy. Ultimately, my co worker John Munson (801) 690-4886 promptly finished up the remaining work and was paid in full. I will continue to perform at the highest standard possible and make an honest living for my family.
