I love teaching violin and I'm so happy to be back at it! I have many years of experience performing and teaching. I love providing a fun variety of music for my students while setting them up for success in any area and style. My lessons are fun, but I still have high expectations of my students.

Very friendly and professional. Love the organization and structure of the lessons and how I can go at my own rate and work towards performing in recitals! I hadn't played my violin for 10 years and I was back to where I left off within 2 lessons!

My son began taking lessons with Rebecca 2 months ago and he has done a complete turn around. He went from feeling like a failure to feeling excited and successful. Rebecca challenges him by teaching him new techniques and she is very encouraging. We love her!

My pricing breakdown looks like this:
30 minute lessons - $120 per month ($30 a lesson)
45 minute lessons - $140 per month ($40 a lesson)
Twinkles - $60 per month (These lessons are reserved for younger children and time can vary significantly based on their individual attention spans.)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send me a message and we will chat! Then we can set up a lesson time. My first lesson is always FREE! I want to make sure we will work well together. I will walk you through my studio policies and expectations. I like to keep my students learning and progressing, but we keep things fun!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been playing the violin for over 25 years. I took private lessons all growing up, as well as participated in multiple private and school orchestras. I studied as a violin performance major at BYU for part of my time in college. I switched degrees, but continued to take lessons.
I am always learning new things and trying other styles. I also play with an orchestra occasionally, as well as an Irish band.
