- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting rate is $200. Then depending on the location of the shoot will determine in my travel fee which would be added.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a mentor through another photographer who has taught me skills with shooting and editing. Since then I’ve been second shooting with that photographer along with taking education courses online from Amy and Jordan who are well known successful photographers. After I got comfortable I have been taking my own clients along with second shooting when my schedule allows me, so I can gain more experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was first an assistant and social media manager for a photographer. But the more and more I was in the business I realized I wanted my own. I love having a creative outlet that allows me to meet new people, be in nature and travel, but also push myself to learn and be the best I can be.
