We hired the Painter1 team to repaint the main level of our home as well as our 1993 kitchen honey oak cabinets. This experience was fantastic from start to finish. We had vetted a number of other players who paint companies, but when we met with Todd Smith, we knew we were in good hands. The experience he and his team bring to the table was reassuring. Todd listened to what we were wanting, gave honest and helpful insights, and then prepared a competitive bid right there on the spot. Next, Karen, the color consultant, came and spent a good amount of time with us talking through not only what we had in mind, but sharing so many ideas to help us take this from “just a paint job” to something that would really upgrade the look and feel of our kitchen and home. She came with a bunch of large color samples, not just the little paint chips. This really helped us to find just the right color matches. And before the painting began we met our project manager, Jose, and the painting team of Sergio and Laura. After a detailed walk through, the “fun part” began. Yes, it takes over the house, as expected, but we were excited to see the progress each day. They listened to our comments and questions during the process and also offered more good ideas that we implemented. We are very particular, and Jose and his team were extremely attentive in their efforts to address every note or suggestion we gave them. We love the way our home looks now. We love their attention to detail. We highly recommend Painter1!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our no obligation estimates are free of charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love every opportunity that we have to work with a potential/new customer! We will first reach out to you and schedule a time that works best with your schedule to have one of our owners come out to your home for a free estimate. We do all of our estimates in person so that we can discuss your project and really understand exactly what your vision is for your home. We will then take measurements so that we can get you the most accurate estimate. After we email the estimate over to you, we will get in contact with you to see if there are any adjustments that you would like to make to the estimate and get you on the schedule to start your project! The day that we begin your painting project, we will send out our project manager and the painters that will be working with you and they will do a walk through of the project with you. They will talk to you about what areas need to be painted, what colors you want to use, and what you can expect throughout the project. Once the painters have completed your project, our project manager will do one last walk through with you to make sure that everything looks fantastic!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Karen has a background in house remodeling and fashion merchandising and management. Todd had a background in business management and marketing.
