- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We like to get a syllabus or at least an overview of what the student is studying. We establish what the student's and parent's goals are and we plan lessons to accomplish their goals. We get ahead of the material the student is covering in class, ensure they understand the current material, and spend 10-25% of our time with the student on reviewing old material. This allows the student to practice the material multiple times so the math is always fresh for quizzes or tests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our Premium Tutors have at least a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of tutoring experience. Our Core Tutors are college students or graduates with prior tutoring experience. All have been tested to ensure the quality of their tutoring.
