Introduction: My name is Krista, I’m an exhausted mom of two, and have a passion for natural light photography. I’ve been a professional photographer for 13 years now, I very nervously shot my first wedding when I was 14, and haven’t stopped (except to make some babies) since. I’ve traveled all over Utah, and neighboring states to photograph weddings, families, and children. I’m a self taught photographer, and tend to want to teach myself all sorts of things. I’m obsessed with embroidery and weaving (all things fiber), and bird watch year round with my cute husband.

Krista is AMAZING to work with. She is ever the professional, with the best sense of humor. She actually gets to know her subjects, and has an incredible eye when it comes to her subjects actual personalities. Best photographer. Hands down. You will NOT be disappointed. We received a few sneak peeks the night of our one year olds shoot, and she had my husband in tears. They are perfect. She got right on her level, and has the patience of a saint. The quality is spot on, and friends and family have noticed. Her first outdoor pictures were just what we were looking for. And more.

Krista took pictures of our little girl just recently and my husband and I couldn't have been more happy with our experience with her! She was so very active with our little 7 month old And very attentive of our wants! We took some family shots as well and between those and our little girls pictures she got so creative! I loved that she would show us a few of the pictures along the way as well it got us even more excited about the out come! She had great ideas on where to take shots! She was very friendly to work with and are looking forward to hopefully working with her in the future!

Krista is amazing at what she does! She is very personable and professional. She was so great with my kids during the photo shoot. She knew how to get my stubborn 3 and 5 year to hold still and got them to smile for pictures- and was so amazing with calming my newborn for his individual shots. I was seriously so impressed! And the pictures she took were top notch- me and my husband are thrilled. We definitely recommend her and will be using her again :).

I have flat rates for each of my hourly sessions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to figure out what type of setting my clients are looking for first. Urban, forest, desert? Location determines lighting, and it helps us lock in a date and time the fastest.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Like a lot of people now days, I'm a self taught photographer. My parents would drop me off at the library to read books about photography.
