- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Savvy is a month-to-month subscription and includes 4 online sessions per week (16-18 sessions per month). We offer two pricing options: group sessions cost about $190 per month, and one-on-one sessions cost about $350 per month. We run promotional pricing a few times per year and always offer discounts for annual subscriptions. Each session is 25 minutes long. Group sessions consist of 2-4 students. Your exact bill each month may vary slightly as we charge per session and only do sessions Monday through Thursday.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, our program is 100% online. Please have a computer or laptop ready for your child to use. Phones and tablets can work as a plan B, but they are not ideal. Step 1 is to sign up for a one-on-one trial session. It costs $5. You'll need to create an account on our website, and pick reading or math for your child. Then you'll pick a time and day for your trial session and lastly do a quick assessment with your child so that we can determine their current reading/math level. Then you attend the online trial session for 25 minutes. The trial session is designed to help you get a taste of what our program is like. After the trial session, you are free to sign up for a month-to-month subscription for Savvy Learning. You'll just pick group sessions, or one-one-one sessions. And you'll also pick a time of day. Then all you do is make sure that your child is logged on every Monday through Thursday at that time! We assign your child a dedicated coach. Your child will remain with that coach for many months to come!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our coaches have real classroom experience at elementary schools. Many of them are current elementary school teachers, and some of them are retired teachers. We have hundreds of coaches, all based in the US. We set a very high bar for our coaches and reject 90% of coach applicants. We also have a team of highly-educated curriculum designers. They stay very up-to-date on the latest research around child development and education. Our curriculum is 100% custom built for Savvy Learning, and is based on the latest research.
